WhatsApp setup

You connect your own WhatsApp Business number to Envomate yourself, through Meta’s official sign-in flow. You do not paste any credentials and nobody at Envomate handles them. WhatsApp is included on the Growth plan and above.

Before you start

  • A Facebook account that can manage your company’s Meta Business portfolio, and a business phone number that is not already in use on the regular WhatsApp app.
  • A payment method on your Meta account in WhatsApp Manager. Meta bills WhatsApp conversation fees to you directly; they are not part of the Envomate price.
  • You are an admin of your Envomate company.

Connect your number

  1. In the dashboard, open Settings > Channels and choose Connect WhatsApp.
  2. Sign in with Facebook in the window Meta opens, pick your business, and choose or add the WhatsApp Business number.
  3. When it finishes, Envomate links the number and shows a 6-digit PIN.

Save your PIN

The PIN is shown once, right after connecting. Copy it and keep it somewhere safe: it cannot be shown again, and you may need it if the number is ever moved. If the number was already registered with WhatsApp, no new PIN is set.

Template approval

Outbound conversations that start more than 24 hours after the last inbound message require an approved template. Draft your greeting, order-update, and shipping-notification templates early. Meta review typically takes a few hours.

If it stops working

If Meta stops accepting the connection, the dashboard shows a Reconnect WhatsApp button. Press it and sign in again. You can disconnect at any time; your number stays yours and stays registered with Meta.
